What is Smart Intake AI?

Smart Intake AI is an optional first step when adding a shirt to your collection. Snap one or more photos and our Vision AI reads the image — pulling out the club, season, manufacturer, kit type, and player details so you spend less time on forms and more time collecting.

What it extracts

• Club & season — identifies the club name and the shirt's season or year from badges, sponsors, and design cues.
• Manufacturer & kit type — recognises the sportswear brand and whether the shirt is a home, away, third, goalkeeper, or special edition.
• Player name & number — reads any printed or embroidered name and squad number from the back of the shirt.
• Fuzzy-matched to your library — extracted values are matched against known clubs and brands to avoid duplicates and typos in your catalog.

How it works

Your photos are sent to a Vision AI model that analyses the image against a structured prompt. The model returns up to 14 metadata fields, which are pre-filled in the catalog form for you to review and correct before saving. Images are processed securely at the edge and are never used to train any model.
